I was so honored to spend Thanksgiving Eve talking to veteran soap actors Kassie & James DePaiva. Kassie and James are perhaps the most well known real-life soap couple. Both actors have enchanted fans for years with their powerhouse performances on shows like, One Life To Live, Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives, and even General Hospital (respectively).

In this exclusive interview, Kassie and James talk about their long standing acting careers, James hesitation to get back into the soap game, the importance of telling social stories on daytime, their love for one another, and so much more!

However, on CBS daytime’s Guiding Light Robert Newman was making his soap debut as Joshua Lewis. Joshua would go down in the history books, as one of the greatest characters in soap opera history.
