INTERVIEW: Robert Newman
In the 1980s, no one in America could get away from the daytime soap opera. The hottest soap opera event came in 1981, on ABC’s General Hospital. That event was the wedding of Luke and Laura. However, on CBS daytime’s Guiding Light Robert Newman was making his soap debut as Joshua Lewis. Joshua would go down in the history books, as one of the greatest characters in soap opera history. I recently talked to Robert Newman, over the phone. It was a lovely 25-minute interview. We discussed his beginnings in acting, his three soap opera roles, those steamy love scenes, and of course his theater work and what he is up to now. So, sit back with a cup of coffee, put those earbuds in, and enjoy! COMMENT BELOW TO LET US KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS SPECIAL ROBERT NEWMAN EXCLUSIVE !!
